After Hours is a fictional gallery demo. Replace the organisation, address, emails, telephone numbers, opening hours and legal text before publishing a real venue.
Shared layout
Every page inherits After Hours — Site layout. Edit its Navigation and Footer once to update the whole site. New pages can inherit the Home layout; keep their content inside the page placeholder.
Exhibitions and the Home
Edit the Exhibitions CMS. Enable Featured on Home on one exhibition. The Home uses its cover, artists, dates, rooms, curator, opening and works summary. Its Home headline, introduction, columns and caption fields preserve the editorial layout.
Artists and programme
Home artist names link directly to the Artists CMS, sorted by Order. Events appear in the Home programme when Show on Home is enabled, sorted by Date, with a six-event limit. Link each event to its exhibition.
Curated artwork sections
Edit artwork content once in the Works CMS: image, title including year, artist label, medium, dimensions, price or owner, Sold and wall note. The Home hero, Room 2 and the four wall labels use the same records. Artist profiles use Key work — Works CMS; exhibitions use Selected work 1–3 — Works CMS. The Home gallery CMS item selects the four pieces through its Work 1–4 references. The Torch Works / layout control keeps placement and scale; leave CMS content enabled. Artwork fields previously duplicated in Artists and Exhibitions have been replaced by Works references.
Opening hours
Edit OpenTonight in the Navigation/Footer source components: set City, Time zone and each weekday’s hours. Use HH:MM–HH:MM; leave closed days blank. Closing times after midnight are supported. Also update the visible hours on Home, Visit and Footer.
Forms and newsletter
Forms intentionally have no delivery destination. Add your email or webhook in each form’s settings. Connect a mailing provider for newsletters, consent and unsubscribe handling. Test both successful and unsuccessful submissions before accepting real enquiries.
Search and sharing
Replace the default title, description, favicon and social preview in Site Settings. CMS detail descriptions use each artist’s Short bio and each exhibition’s Summary. Style guide and 404 are excluded from indexing.
Images and credits
The included imagery was generated with AI for this template. Original generated files, web versions and generation prompts are supplied in the asset package. Keep this disclosure accurate when adding or replacing images, and update alternative text and credits. The gallery and artists are fictional.
Code components
AfterHoursTorch provides pointer lighting, keyboard focus, touch layouts and reduced motion. OpenTonight provides local opening status. Both can request Google Fonts; reflect your final configuration in your privacy information.
